Music Performers Association of South Africa (MPASA) is a registered non-profit company. MPASA is a national association formed to promote and develop economic interest for its members that are primarily performers. MPASA was formed by the "Living Legends" of our local music industry. Musicians such as Stephen Tsie of the Africa Spear and RAY PHIRI from STIMELA fame (Late as of 12/ 07/ 2017), Blondie Makhena, Peter Mokoena, Joe "Killer Joe" Nina, Tu Nokwe, to name a few.
MPASA has a democratic transformed Board of Directors under the leadership of its chairperson Mr Stephen Tsie and three other Board of Directors. The main objective of the association is to formalise, professionalise and commercialise business interest of its performers and or musicians in South Africa.
• To have drug free awareness campaigns and advise people on its implications to their and lives, families and on their communities.
• To instill in our youth a culture of savings
• To implement measures to entice new and upcoming artist.
• To create awareness to the communities and educating them on growth and sustainability.
